World Trade Center
so i saw World Trade Center the other night with Jamie and he and I both were taken aback by the movie. I expected it to be too Hollywood-ish and didn't want to go. But the movie turned out to be really tastefully done and was pretty touching.
There was one particular part that I can't stop thinking about. The movie is based on the TRUE stories that two survivers told. In one part of the film, one of the men seems to give up....he is going to die. All of a sudden, Jesus appears. (It's kind of like he's having a "near death experience." He said that Jesus was holding a bottle of water (the two men had just spoken about how thirsty each of them was). He said Jesus told him that his time wasn't up...it comforted him and he awoke and was saved very soon after.
I don't know about you...but to me...that gives me so much joy and hope. To hear a TRUE story...of a survivor of a horrific disaster...tell that he saw Jesus (he was a believer) gives me so much hope. It brings sadness to me because of the people who do not know Jesus or believe in him as I do.
I think on that scene daily and pray that if I were ever in a situation like that...Jesus would come and comfort me...whether I am to die..or miraculously , live, as the man did.
I believe that people who look at the Bible and read about the angles coming to people or Jesus himself coming to people and say "Well, these never happen now a days so this can't be real" will come to realize what is happening around them. This man was a survivor and if it happened to him it could happen to anyone. I still believe Jesus or angles come to us and are always with us but especially when we need him. I've experienced some of it in my life (not as much as I would like) but enough for me to say i have had personal experience.
I hope people can open their eyes and see what is going on around them. The Bible says in Revelation that before the end of days there will be a one world currency....well look at the Euro in Europe....also...it says there will be wars and devestating hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes....isn't that happening....also...it says (very little) that cash money will be non exsistant and everyone will use cards....debit...credit....also it says we will not be able to tell one season from the next....global warming....i don't know but we haven't been getting as much snow...

I'm not saying the end of the world is coming. No one knows when that will be. I believe we are still far away...but the world is changing and I think all the signs are there...if people will just open their eyes and believe...before its too late!
